 he Mekong Delta is where the mighty Mekong River ends its long run from Tibet, through China's Yunnan province, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and finally Vietnam, splitting into seven major branches before flowing into the South China Sea. The Mekong River is 12th-longest in the world, and the 10th-largest by volume (discharging 475 km³ of water annually) with an estimated length is 4,180 kilometers. Our tour passes through the heart of the delta, traveling from Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City to the east below, south My Tho, Vinh Long, and the capital city Can Tho. And if you're on a longer 4-day itinerary, west onto Can Tho located along the border of Cambodia.
